Testimonial evidence, false testimony and unintentional forgery of memories

The purpose of this article is testimonial evidence and its relationship with the unintentional falsification of memories within the scope of a judicial process, investigating everything from the search for procedural truth, through the general theory of testimonial evidence, with emphasis on false testimony , having in the study of memories the possibility of demonstrating a real need for qualitative deepening in the evidentiary content, in order to create possibilities for the legal system and even the judicial body, to be aware of and take into account the potential of false memories as an evaluation criterion of credibility of testimonies.
