Diagnóstico das demandas da atenção primária sobre a inserção das tecnologias de informação e comunicação (TICS)

Abstract

Objective - To evaluate the need for the use of ICTs among professionals and users of the Family Health Strategies. Materials and Methods - This is a quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional field research. The sample consists of users and professionals from the health units of the municipality of Valença. Data collection was carried out through the application of a questionnaire, most of the questions being multiple choice. Through the information obtained by applying the questionnaire, a simple descriptive statistical analysis was performed using the Microsoft Excel program. Results and Discussion - The questions in the questionnaire covered various topics such as clarification on the functionality of the site and ways to facilitate services, scheduling appointments and even suggesting the creation of a service channel. Thus, it was shown that most Primary Care users consider the increase of ICTs in the Family Health Strategy useful. Conclusion - The study showed that the use of ICT in Primary Care is seen as beneficial for users and health professionals, especially when it comes to the spread of information. Therefore, the application of tools such as a mobile application would be an ideal way to realize the idea.
